• the reason his palms are often sweaty is because he tends to curl his hands inward while in neutral positions, but the issue was a lot worse for him during puberty
• he’s always had a jealous streak in regards to mabel’s love interests, but he tries his absolute best to keep it hidden most of the time
• he thrives and grows more in the forest than in any other biome
• despite what his pride would have him say, he likes to karaoke cheesy duets with his sister
• his anxiety keeps him up so he reads about oddities, etcetera online on sites that are equally humorous and serious
• one summer he went on a date with mabel and she was wearing a blonde wig and some sunglasses as a disguise and it became the talk of the town that dipper and pacifica were the new it couple, but she was on the other side of town at the time, soooo…..
• he once tried to get a tattoo of a pine tree between his shoulder blades or somewhere else non-intrusive but the minute the tattoo artist stuck the needle through his skin the first time, he changed his mind so now he has a single drop of ink on his skin somewhere on his body
• somehow, his body hair is kind of downy (as much as coarse hair will allow) and mabel loves to nuzzle on his chest and stuff because of it
• he remains a sexually-repressed virgin until he’s in his 20s even though he’s been propositioned a few different times; he was either oblivious or unattracted in all of these situations
• he posts on paranormal reddit threads but nobody believes him or takes his well-informed advice and they all just think he’s a jackass
• he spent a week or two following around tad strange to see if he was more than just an uncannily straight, bland man with an ironic name and a penchant for bread, and found nothing
• wendy will always be buffer and stronger than he is and that’s a fact, but he’s got a decent amount of lean muscle and along with a slight paunch in the lower belly — it’s genetic, because mabel has one too
• he bites his nails and when people tell him to use a clipper instead he uses the excuse of utility and being able to work with what you have, but really he just has anxiety and nervous tics
• mabel cuts his hair because he doesn’t trust salons since a stylist messed up his hair really badly one time — she gives him the same shaggy ‘do he’s had for, like, ever and he’s always satisfied with it
