Like Japanese animation has this lovely trend of just rebooting a series for a series of movies. Or having in between stories going on. Like…can American animation start doing that? Don’t need to bring back a series after its over. But maybe round up the band for a tv movie or two. Would that be so bad?
DC has a ton of those, and you get an occasional thing from CN and Nick.
Exactly, but why not more. Not just the occasional fluke. If they did ovas then we wouldn’t have to eat all these underwhelming reboots. Just some nice tv movies made by the original crew, and not some revamped nonsense to try to make what we loved into something marketable for someone else *casts murderous gaze at new teen titans*
DC USED to do little videos all the time. Like the Super Best Friends. It had way more potrntial than TTG. But ever since they landed on that, they haven’t done anything else, as far as I know. And the Teen Titans movie was supposed to be oart of the next season, not a stand alone movie. There was a lot more planned for it, but DC hates girls for some reason.
