If you’re someone affected by the platform’s definition of what they’re going to be banning, I strongly suggest you back up your Tumblr blog. RIGHT NOW. Info on how to do that is here.

I can’t think why my own Tumblr would be affected, but I’ll be backing things up too… because in situations like this one might expect the algorithm to get a little out of hand and make mistakes that one might or might not be able to recover from. (See this article.)

For safety’s sake – because I’d very much dislike losing the content I’ve shared with other people here – I’l be embodying my Tumblr content in a new WordPress blog over the coming days. I’ll share the address here when it’s ready, for those who might be interested.

But in the meantime, seriously: friends and cousins, back yourselves up.

pines family thanksgiving headcanons:

-Dipper and Mabel spending their thanksgiving break in Gravity Falls, of course

-Stan messing up Thanksgiving dinner and having to send Ford and the kids out to the store, which has been wiped clean but they settle for anything they can find; the shack almost burns down from the burnt turkey; they end up eating Stancakes

-Soos’ Abuelita comes over and she makes food so the holiday feels more special

-Ford comforting Stan and making it known that it was a mistake and he didn’t ruin Thanksgiving

-Dipper and Wendy puke from eating too many enchiladas and then Mabel snaps pictures for her scrapbook

-Once they finish eating, Ford finds old Christmas and Hanukkah decorations and they start setting up for the coming holidays

-Mabel makes sweaters for everyone and bounces off the walls from eating too much whipped cream and Dipper has to tackle her so she’ll sit still

-A demonic turkey terrorizes the town and flees into the woods, never to be seen again. Stan and Ford spend the rest of the night (after everyone has fallen asleep back at the Mystery Shack) trying to capture it and research it
