I feel like when Stan and Ford are done adventuring and they move back to Gravity Falls permanently Stan gets bored so he decides to run for mayor again. He wins it pretty easily. Everyone remembers the Weirdmageddon and the role he and his family played. He hires Wendy to be his secretary. She, following in the footsteps of Gina from Brooklyn 99 and April from Parks and Rec, she makes sure Stan misses all of the meetings he wants to miss. He introduces a healthy and acceptable level of grift into the office. Everyone already knows he’s bribable, so he gives them the kind of security only a freshly greased palm can ensure.
