So I have had this thought pop up for the last few days and was wondering this question.
If the great Alex Hirsch agreed to read one, and only one, Pinecest fanfiction story, what story would you have him read?
It could be any story that features the twins, even the fics where they are not exactly related. I am curious what I will hear. Please share this I am genuinely interested if other people have had this thought as well.
I know that is way too many for just one choice, and believe me there are many more contenders out there, but these are some of the ones that have made stories that kind of legitimize the whole them being together is alright for me.

Assuming Alex has interest in this particular subject matter, I would vote for “Mystery Twins” (Intro, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) by @coniferoussiblings . As an “origin story” of their taboo relationship, no other story (in my opinion) does a better job of doing so while capturing the spirit of the television show. There’s comedy, adventure, danger, and the familiar setting and characters of Gravity Falls, along with spot-on banter between Dipper and Mabel. Plus while it does have some NSFW erotic scenes, it is written tastefully and fits perfectly into the tone of the story. It may have been the first Pinecest fanfic I ever read, but it objectively remains a standard-bearer.

At this particular moment, it’s the children. It’s the lying and covering up. Claiming that it’s the law and “they’re just doing their job”. Something a lot of people probably don’t know about me is that I’m a first-generation American. I’m the child of refugees. My grandfather was caught and put into slavery before the family rescued him. My mother spent years of her life in a rotting shack because the family had to hide from the new government. She lived through broken bones and ciguatera poisoning before coming to America.
These people are monsters. They’re like the alien insect from the first men in black movie. Walking around in their disguises that nobody really believes, pretending not to be what they really are. It’s almost funny that you didn’t have to go “oh wow, what’s going on? tyrants? I wonder who Pan is talking about.”

Trying to write, but I’m so fucking furious. My anger is a white hot incandescent rage that, if focused, could burn a man to the bone.
what if they found the electron carpet and BANGED on it??? they’d just keep switching back and forth, feeling confused but turned-on (“i always wondered what it was like to have sex as a guy!” mabel chirps) ….. in that moment, they’d practically merge together and become one with all the (literal) sparks flying…..
